Description
I have a Blackberry 8800 by Vodafone Germany.
I could download the .jad File of 0.4.2 (the .jar failed with a unknown Mime type error). I installed successfully and started the bbtracker. A message pops up saying "Error starting bbtracker: Module 'bbtracker' has verification error 2903 at offset 2875"
I had similar errors with other GPS tools so maybe this is a limitation by the operator? Google Maps Mobile and Nav4all work.
Can someone confirm this error or has a hint?

Ah, ok, so there is still hope, very good!
Nevertheless, when I try to download the jar file, I get a "Nicht unterstützter Medientyp: application/x-jar" error. (not supported media type)
Any idea?
Best wishes, Fabian

Unfortunately I can't help you here, since there seems to be a problem somewhere between the bbTracker server and your BlackBerry? (probably with your provider). The bbTracker server (correctly) uses "application/java-archive" as the Mime-Type of the .jar-file and never mentions "application/x-jar". It's possible that some transparent Proxy (or even your MDS) changes that value so that your BlackBerry? doesn't recognize it.
You could try contacting Vodafone support about that issue (or if this is a company BlackBerry? you might want to ask your system administrator).

It is a company Blackberry and maybe our proxy changes the mime type...
But the good thing is that it worked: I changed the browser settings "Allgemeine Eigenschaften": for the "Standard-Browser" option I changed the value from "Blackberry-Browser" to "Internet-Browser" and downloading the .jar and installing it worked suddenly! I don't know what this setting exactly does, but as long as it solved my problem...
I just wanted to add this here in case somebody has a similar problem.
Thank you for your support and this great tool!
Installing via the .jad-file on a BlackBerry? will always fail with a verification error every time. That's a known problem.
Installing via the .jar-file should work, 'though.
Where did you install from? getjar.com or bbtracker.org? Try installing from http://www.bbtracker.org/download/current/bbtracker.jar again, please.
If the mime-type error persists, please re-open this ticket and post the exact error message.
